Alfredo “Freddy” Hill Hinojosa, 57, of Uvalde died on June 10, 2016, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 15, 1958, in Uvalde to Pura (Hill) and Antonio Hinojosa. He is survived by his father; two sons, Robert Hinojosa of San Antonio, and Fred Hinojosa Jr. of Tennessee; one daughter, Jessica Marie Menchaca of Leander; three brothers, Tony Hinojosa of Michigan, and Joe Hinojosa and Richard Hinojosa, both of Uvalde; nine grandchildren, Shea Hinojosa, Robert Hinojosa Jr., Camden Hinojosa, Cynthia Menchaca, Ruben Menchaca, Chanel Hinojosa, Sophia Menchaca, Christian Hinojosa, and Tyler Hinojosa; one greatgrandchild, Andrew Hinojosa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother, Rudy Hinojosa. A funeral mass was held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation was under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Robert Hinojosa Sr., Robert Hinojosa Jr., Ruben Menchaca, Joe Hinojosa, Robbie Hinojosa, and Richard Hinojosa Jr.
