Jackie Lee Baker, 77, of Kendalia died on July 11, 2016, at Happy Living Care Home in Boerne. A funeral service will be held today at 9:30 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, with interment following at Leakey Cemetery. J.R. Baker will officiate. She was born on July 29, 1938, in Bandera to Bessie Lorene (Haby) and James Noble Cravey. She married Ray Baker on Sept. 11, 1956, in Leakey. She is survived by her husband of 59 years; three sons, Ron Baker and wife, Mary Lou, of Laredo, Don Baker of Uvalde, and Michael Baker and wife, Lauren, of Spring; four sisters, Shirley Greenwalt of Castroville, Margaret Davis of Uvalde, Jamie Harris of San Antonio, and Joyce Herndon of Hondo; one brother, Douglas Cravey of Little Elm; eight grandchildren, Ronda Martens, Ashley Applegate, Jessica Williams, Ryan Baker, Blake Baker, Logan Baker, Callie Baker, and Cade Baker; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, James Ray Cravey. Pallbearers will be Ron Baker, Don Baker, Michael Baker, Ryan Baker, Blake Baker, and Logan Baker.
