Della Jo Kite, 88, of Snohomish, Washington went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2016 in Everett, Washington. She was born on Aug. 30, 1927, in Levelland to Nina D. (King) and Paul F. Cornelius. She married the love of her life, Lester Kite, on May 26, 1945, in La Pryor. They moved to the Pacific Northwest in March 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years; her son, David; and great-granddaughter, Addison. She will be remembered by all for her love of the Lord, family and friends, and her positive attitude and funny little laugh. She is survived by her son, Donald and his wife, Pamela, of Snohomish, Washington; two granddaughters, Tiffany and her husband, Michael, of Washington and Heather and her husband, Kyle, of Lake Stevens, Washington; and three great-grandsons, Carter, Ryder and Tristan. A memorial will be scheduled at a later time in San Antonio.
