Joy Jean Routh, 85, of Uvalde died on Sept. 20, 2016, at Retama Manor Nursing Center/Victoria South in Victoria. She was born on Aug. 13, 1931, in Mayes County, Oklahoma to Conlelea Floyd. She married Leon Routh on Feb. 17, 1951, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She worked for Central Power and Light for more than 40 years. She is survived by special friends, Sharon and Ray Coleman of Victoria, formerly of Uvalde, and many members of the Central Power and Light company family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years. A graveside service was held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery
