
Teodoro C. De Leon, 71, of Uvalde died on April 5, 2016, at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Barksdale. He was born on Sept. 26, 1944, in Camp Wood to Rafaela (Carbajal) and Guadalupe De Leon. He is survived by his partner, Andrea Sanchez of Uvalde; four daughters, Angela Velasquez and husband, Inez, of Uvalde, Denise Gonzalez and husband, Antonio, of La Pryor, Marisol De Leon, and Michelle L. De Leon, both of Uvalde; two sons, Teddy De Leon and wife, Carol, of Knippa and June Lara and wife, Elena, of Uvalde; six sisters, Amada Diaz of Uvalde, Lupe Falcon of Camp Wood, Paula Monsivais of Uvalde, and Maria Aguero and husband, Manuel, Yolanda Aguero and husband, Leondro, and Gloria Hernandez and husband, Leonard, all of Camp Wood; four brothers, Guadalupe De Leon Jr. and wife, Rosalinda, of Uvalde, Leroy De Leon and wife, Tita, of Camp Wood, Felix De Leon and wife, Tina, of Leakey, and Ray De Leon and wife, Adel, of Camp Wood; 18 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. De Leon was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Cruz De Leon; and three sisters, Modesta Balderas, Lucy Tobar, and Tomasa Mendoza.
