Reynaldo C. Pineda, 48, of San Antonio, formerly of Uvalde, died on Feb. 15, 2017, at his residence. The family will greet visitors today from noon to 9 p.m., and a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m., at Rushing- Estes-Knowles Mortuary. He was born on Dec. 3, 1968, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Oralia Cervantes and Alfredo Pineda Sr. The family says he enjoyed working as a mechanic and automobile painter; he worked for more than 25 years in the automotive industry in Uvalde; and he will be missed by friends and family. He is survived by his companion of 5 years, Rocio Munoz, of San Antonio; mother, and husband, Gilbert Gallegos, of Uvalde; two daughters, Keisha Nicole Pineda and Kayla Rae Pineda, both of Uvalde; one sister, Sandra Rubio and husband, Feliciano, of Uvalde; two brothers, Gilbert Gallegos Jr. of San Antonio, and Alfred Pineda Jr. and wife, Monica, of Uvalde; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Cremation was previously completed.
