Brian Arthur Griffin, 43, of San Angelo, formerly of Uvalde, died on Feb. 3, 2017, in San Angelo. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at the columbarium on the church grounds. The Rev. Mike Marsh will officiate, and a reception in Grace Hall will follow the service. He was born on Feb. 19, 1973, in Uvalde to Janice (Locke) and Gary Griffin. He graduated from Uvalde High School in 1991. He attended San Angelo State University and was employed with H-E-B Store as central checkout manager at the time of his death. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Gary Mac Griffin and wife, Jennifer, of Uvalde, and Greg Griffin and wife, J.K., of Sugar Land; four nieces, Bella Griffin and Joslynn Griffin, both of Uvalde, and Bailey Griffin and Peyton Griffin, both of Sugarland; two uncles, Charles Griffin and wife, Kay, of Uvalde; Jimmy Locke and wife, Denise, of Boerne; and four cousins, Kari McHone, Darcy Hobby, and Stephanie Locke, all of Boerne, and Amy Ellis of Austin; his H-E-B Store mentor, Lynn Shipley; and many co-workers and friends that he referred to as extended family.
