Olga G. Moreno, 68, of Uvalde died on April 17, 2016, at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. A rosary was recited on Wednesday and will be recited again today at 7 p.m. at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born on July 22, 1947, in Uvalde to Jesusita Reynosa and Willie R. Garcia. She is survived by two daughters, Monica Rodriguez and Connie Trevino; one son, Willie Moreno; and one sister, Dolores Garcia, all of Uvalde; two brothers, Richard Garcia of Arkansas, and Arnold Garcia of Uvalde; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cruz ‘’Cano’’ Moreno; one son, Cano Moreno; and one brother, Gilbert Garcia. Pallbearers will be Roger Davila, David Trevino Jr., John Rodriguez, Cano Moreno, Matthew Moreno, and Willie Moreno Jr.
