Dennie Leal Treviño, 56, of Uvalde died on July 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 9, 1960, in Uvalde to Felis L. Banda and Antonio P. Treviño. He married Maria Camacho in 1980 in Uvalde. He is survived by one daughter, Felis J. Treviño of Uvalde; one son, Luis A. Arroyos of Minnesota; eight sisters, Odilia Treviño and husband, Galo Jimenez, Dolores Banda and husband, Fred Gonzales, Lynda Rios, Maryann T. Garcia and husband, Joe, and Victoria Gonzales, all of Uvalde, Maricela Banda and husband, Ray Galvan, of Seguin, and Valerie Payne and Diana Carrillo, both of San Antonio; one brother, Antonio Treviño Jr. of Uvalde; one grandson, Gavin A. Martinez of Uvalde; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Treviño was preceded in death by his wife; father; grandparents; one daughter, Evelyn D. Treviño; and one brother, Duane Treviño. A rosary was recited on Wednesday and again on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass was held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Raul L. Flores III, Christopher Treviño, Inez Mata, Joseph Mata, Antonio Treviño Jr., Estevan “Bebe” Lopez, David Treviño and Jesse Rodriguez.
