Norbert Otto Kay Sr., 74, of Sabinal died on July 4, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in San Antonio. He was born on April 1, 1943, in Charlotte to Frances Geraldine (Johnson) and Johnie Elmo Kay Sr. He married Calladonia Anderson on Nov. 13, 1965, in San Antonio. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, of Sabinal; two sons, Norbert Kay Jr. and Sean Kay, both of Sabinal; two sisters, Noreen Scrivner and husband, James, of Ballinger, and Jeanie Walters of San Antonio; and two brothers, Johnie Elmo Kay Jr. and wife, Sharon, of San Antonio, and Gerald Kay and wife, Carol, of Sabinal. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation was under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
