Juanita Vasquez, 89, of Uvalde died on July 18, 2017, in San Antonio. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born on June 4, 1928, in Eagle Pass to Pilar (Barrios) and David Garza. She married Anastacio Vasquez in 1947 in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, of Uvalde; two sons, Andy Vasquez of Uvalde, and Armando Vasquez and wife, Mary Jane, of Pflugerville; six grandchildren, Noel Vasquez, Dion Vasquez, Belinda Segura, Manuel Vasquez, Vincent Vasquez and Amanda Vasquez; and 28 greatgrandchildren. Vasquez was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Noel Vasquez, Dion Vasquez, Manuel Vasquez, Vincent Vasquez, Amanda Vasquez and Belinda Segura.
