Mr. Raul H. Vasquez Sr., of Uvalde, Texas, passed away on June 2, 2016, at the age of 66. He was born in Knippa, Texas to the late Mr. Jesus and Mrs. Julia (Hernandez) Vasquez on November 1, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margarita Vasquez; one son, Abel Vasquez and wife, Theresa; one daughter, Christina Herrera and husband, Thomas; brothers: Mario, Hector and Felix; sisters: Diana, Enriqueta, Ninfa and Dora; six grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Raul Vasquez Jr.; and two brothers, Johnny Vasquez and Jesse Vasquez. Visitation was held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There was a Chapel Service on June 6, 2016, at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.
