Helen Ybarra, 90, of Sabinal died on Aug. 2, 2016, at Hondo Community Care Center and Rehabilitation. She was born on July 21, 1926, in Sabinal to Catarina (Lopez) and Porfirio Flores. She married Feliberto Ybarra in Sabinal on Aug. 26, 1945. She is survived by six daughters, Barbara Y. Alvares, Odilia Y. Silvas and husband, Roy, all of Sabinal, Belia Y. Garcia and husband, Amado, of Houston, Lupe Y. Gutierrez and husband, Sal, of San Antonio, Alicia Y. Ramos and husband, Juan, of Santa Maria, California, and Josie Y. Villarreal and husband, Luis, of Pearsall; two sons, Gilberto ‘’Boy’’ Ybarra of Gainesville, and Joe Ybarra of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Lupe Sandoval of Sabinal, and Julia Reyna of Los Angeles, California; 18 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters, Petra F. Laughlin, Juanita F. Pruneda, and Elvira F. Alejandro; and three brothers, Alfonso Flores, Camilo Flores and Pete Flores Jr. A funeral mass was held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sabinal, followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Sabi-
