Judith Ann Turner, 74, of Uvalde died on March 3, 2017, at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Aug. 17, 1942, in East Hampton, Massachusetts, to Elizabeth (Laducier) and Norbert David Benham. She married George Oso ‘’Buddy’’ Turner on June 23, 1962, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. The family says she cherished fellow parishioners at First United Methodist Church in Uvalde as extended family, and the feeling was mutual. She is survived by one son, Glen Turner and wife, Angela Gail; and one daughter, Anna Janine Turner and husband, Jerry Gonzales, all of Uvalde; seven grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, David Norbert Benham and Ralph Benham; one grandchild, Christian Wade Turner; and several other family members. A memorial service was held yesterday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.
