Richard Cardenas, 66, of Hondo, formerly of Uvalde, died on April 23, 2016, at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Funeral services are pending with Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of the Uvalde Leader-News.
