Frederick Justin McIntosh, 87, of Sabinal died on April 22, 2016, at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Sept. 8, 1928, in Columbus to Louise (Barton) and William E. McIntosh. He married Ethel Marie Bills on Dec. 20, 1952, in Dublin. She preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by one son, Bobby McIntosh and wife, Pam, of Sabinal; one daughter, Rita Hudson and husband, Robert, of Castroville; two brothers, Eugene McIntosh and wife, Jean, of Lafayette, Indiana, and William Herbert McIntosh and wife, Reva, of Blanco; three grandchildren, Leah Keeney and husband, Tracey, Justin McIntosh and wife, Patricia, and Alaina Weynand and husband, Vance; and eight great-grandchildren, Hayden Keeney, Jackson Keeney, Harper McIntosh, Allison McIntosh, Logan Weynand, Victoria Weynand, Alexandria Weynand, and Elizabeth Weynand. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and one sister, Florene Shaw. Graveside services were held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sabinal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vance Weynand, Tracey Keeney, Justin McIntosh, Hayden Keeney, Logan Weynand, and Roy Bills. Posthumous honorary pallbearers are Aubrey Haynes, Alvin Hall Sr., Marshall Hudson, Homer “Doc” Lewis, Mendell Morgan Sr., Dink Turner, and Glen Smith.
