Martha Carolyn Baxter, 86, of Uvalde died on June 8, 2016, at the Uvalde Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1930, in Martindale to Willie (Cook) and Davis Baggett. She married Ralph Marcus Baxter on Dec. 25, 1951, in Austin. According to her family, she never met a stranger, and managed to find beauty in everything. She is survived by her husband, of Uvalde; two daughters, Brenda Harrison and husband, George, of Uvalde, and Becky Altobelli and husband, Tony, of San Antonio; one son, Bill Baxter and wife, Shirley, of Uvalde; 13 grandchildren, Bonnie Zamora, Yvette Zamora, Trey Zamora and wife, Kristin, Amos Harrison and wife, Linda, Allison Harrison, Jason Altobelli and wife, Jacqueline, Martha Garcia and husband, Steven, Marcus Baxter and wife, Kristin, John and Baxter and wife, Lynz, Alex Morales Jr., Mark Morales and wife, Pearl, Jonathan Morales and wife, Brissa, and Keanna Baxter; 13 great-grandchildren, Brandt Zamora, Elizabeth Harrison, Ellie Harrison, Zoe Baxter, Collin Baxter, Hans Baxter, Haiden Morales, Kara Romero, Elija Bonnet, Darrien Bonnet, Niya Morales, Aaliyah Morales, and Scott Morales; and one great-great-grandchild, Abby Zamora.
