The husband of Louise Horner Hundahl, Ernest Hundahl passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2016, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Ernest was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 7, 1948. He attended Colorado State University and obtained his MBA from SMU. It was in Dallas, where he met the love of his life, Louise Horner. They were married in Uvalde in 1973. He is survived by his wife, Louise and his daughters, Megan Streete and her husband, Foster, and their daughter, Macy; and his daughter, Kelley Hundahl and her husband, Jason, and their sons, Kirby and Dylan. Because of the love Ernest had for the Horner family, it was his wish to be buried in Uvalde. Interment will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend.
