
Santos Paula ‘’Paulita’’ Treviño, 93, of Uvalde died on Nov. 14, 2016, at her residence. A rosary was recited Saturday and will be recited again today at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was born on Nov. 1, 1923, in Rhineland to Maria (Sanchez) and Pablo Hernandez. She married Donaciano Trevino on March 9, 1946, in Bexar County. She is survived by three daughters, Leonar De la Rosa and husband, Isidro, of Uvalde, Esdula T. Reyes of Brackettville, and Mary Olivarez and husband, John, of Shallowater; two sons, Guadalupe Treviño and wife, Estella, of Shallowater, and Donaciano Treviño Jr. and wife, Juanita Sanchez, of Uvalde; two brothers, Guillermo Hernandez and wife, Anita, and Santiago Hernandez and wife, Lina, all of Tucson, Arizona; one daughter-in-law, Arminda Treviño of Uvalde; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Alfredo Treviño; one sister, Ramona Salmirano; and two brothers, Trine Hernandez and Armando Hernandez. Pallbearers will be John Paul Olivarez, Gary Treviño, Alfredo Treviño Jr., Abel Treviño, Lupe Treviño Jr., and Tony Treviño. Honorary pallbearers will be Isidro De La Rosa Jr., Adrian Treviño and Joseph Treviño.
