Janie Ramos Aguero, 69, of Killeen, formerly of Uvalde, died on Jan. 7, 2017, at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was born on Aug. 20, 1947, in Uvalde to Valeria (Zamarripa) and Viviano Ramos. Aguero is survived by one daughter, Angelique Aguero of Killeen; one son, Ernest Aguero of Uvalde; two sisters, Eva Ramos of San Antonio, and Mary Ramos of Uvalde; two brothers, Richard Ramos of Kerrville, and Camilo Ramos of Killeen; six grandchildren, Clarissa M. Aguero, David A. Aguero, Jeremy L. Aguero, Ernest R. Aguero Jr., Senaida L. Buruato Aguero, and Miguel A. Aguero; and three great-grandchildren, Xavier T. Aguero, Harmony N. Gray and Serenity N. Aguero. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Viviano Ramos Jr. and Henry Ramos; and two nephews, Adan ‘’Donny’’ Ramos and Alfredo Ramos. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary. Pall bearers will be Cleveland Gossett, Paul Ramos, Jeremy Aguero, David Aguero, Ernest Aguero and Henry Ramos.
