
Paulino Melchor, 65, of Laredo died on April 9, 2016, at his residence. A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with interment following at Hillcrest Cemetery. He was born on Oct. 10, 1950, in Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico to Rosa (Licon) and Tomas Melchor. He married Maria Patricia Romero in Piedras Negras, Mexico on Nov. 3, 1972. He is survived by his wife of 43 years; father, of Uvalde; one daughter, Lilia Elvira Garcia and husband, Juan, of Uvalde; two sons, Jorge Alberto Melchor and wife, Consuelo, and Juan Pablo Melchor and companion, Maria Mirando, all of Uvalde; three sisters, Alma Leticia Perez and Juanita Villa, both of Uvalde, and Oralia Rodriguez of Jacksonville; four brothers, Jesus Melchor and Miguel Melchor, both of Uvalde, and Jose Ignacio Melchor and Tomas Melchor, both of Piedras Negras, Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. Pallbearers will be Joshua Melchor, Jesse Perez, Junior Perez, Herlinda Flores, Abraham Melchor, Tony Melchor, Gerardo Melchor, and Andy Melchor.
