Donald D. Munderback Sr., 68, of Uvalde died on April 8, 2016, in San Antonio. A family visitation will be held today at Rushing- Estes-Knowles Mortuary from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. He was born on April 2, 1948, in San Antonio to Gladiola (Bracken) and Donald B. Munderback. He married Anna E. Eliot on March 18, 1989, in San Antonio. He was in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1988 and served two tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, of Uvalde; one daughter, Jodi Munderback of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sons, Frank Munderback of Del Rio, David Munderback of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Donald Munderback Jr. of Uvalde; and five grandchildren, Samantha Munderback, and Frank Munderback Jr., both of Del Rio, and Chanceine Munderback, Prudence Munderback and Titan Munderback, all of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Carl Dietzel.
