Trapper Ray Ansley, 35, of Uvalde died on March 30, 2016, at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. A memorial service will be held on April 23, 2016, at 3 p.m. at The Church in the Valley in Leakey. The Rev. Ray Miller will officiate. He was born on Aug. .19, 1980, in Uvalde to Gail (Chatterton) and Thomas .Ray Ansley. He was a lifelong resident of Uvalde. He is survived by his mother, of Uvalde; three brothers, Duane Galan and wife, Carol, Sandy Ansley and wife, Faye, and Ryan Galan, all of Uvalde; four sisters, Cindy Galan Scheel and husband, Steve, of Katy, Marsha Ansley Betts and husband, Paul, of Carrizo Springs, Nancy Ansley Hardwick of Cedar Hill, and Tomme Ansley Adams of Cedar Hill; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Balinda Ansley Stoffel.
